Hi! I’m Christine.
I’m a fan of statistics, an experienced science communicator, and a wildlife photography enthusiast. I earned my Master of Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, with a focus on conservation and biodiversity, and also hold two bachelor’s degrees: one in Anthropology and another in Ecology and Zoology.
My love for animals has been a constant in my life. Initially drawn to the idea of becoming a veterinarian, my experiences working in a veterinary office during undergrad led me to explore other paths. As I delved into primatology and ecology courses, I discovered alternative ways to contribute to animal welfare and environmental conservation.
Engaging in research became a passion, leading me to complete two undergraduate theses and various research positions. I found joy in learning new information, conducting statistical analyses, and sharing knowledge with others through research. Cheesy as it may sound, I’m thrilled to be working in a field where I can inspire others with my enthusiasm for animals and conservation.
Only if we understand, can we care. Only if we care, we will help. Only if we help, we shall be saved.
